Congratulations Matt & Jenny

I just want to say congratulations to my friend and her hubby! their son was born on Monday and he is gorgeous... i am so excited for you guys!
Jenny, he is truly a miracle and i thank God that He was there with you through everything.... i know it was a long year but you made it and i am so happy for you. i am always praying for you guys and i know that this is going to be a wonderful year for all three of you.
i cant wait to hear all about it and i cant wait to see you guys...
you have been such a great friend to me and i hope one day when i have a little one that our kids can be best buddies! you are going to be such a great mom and that little boy is so blessed to have you in his life... Congrats again! LOVE YOU GIRL! :)

well this weekend was so much fun! i had a great time with everyone and was sad that my hubby couldnt make it... we all missed you babe!

my new b'day present came in that he got me and i love it! the camera is great and i have downloaded my first batch to my computer and renamed all the files ANd emailed them to everyone! i am so proud! so much better than waiting on film to be developed!i hope everyone had a great weekend and have a great week!here are just a few pics... i took so many so i am going to limit myself to just posting a few for now...

oh and the camera case that my niece has... well let's just say that was her new fav toy over the weekend. if anyone took it away she would pucker up and cry and look at me like "Aunt Kiss, they took it away from me, get it back!"

ahaha i would take my camera out and she was so impatient cuz she wanted the case NOW! we joked about me getting her one for her 1st b'day. hmmmmm i might have to do that!

Jesus called a little child unto Him

I was reading a devotion from the Proverbs 31 ministries and there was a verse in it that touched my heart... so i looked up the chapter which is Matthew 18 and i wanted to share it with you guys... most of you that are on this blog have children and i am sure this will touch your heart too...
Matthew 18:1-6; 10-14
1At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
2And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
3And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
5And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.
6But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

10Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
11For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost.
12How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?
13And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.
14Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish

I dont understand why things happen in this world, but i do know that children are a gift from God and it breaks my heart to hear about what happens to innocent chidren at the hands of evil men and women...i wish i could take all the children in and save them from these people... but for now i will pray my heart out that someone listens and pays attention to a child in need...
