Congrats!

I just want to say CONGRATULATIONS to my sister, brother in law and niece!!!! i cant wait to have another niece/nephew!!!

Happy 2 months sweet Elijah Dean

My sweet sweet boy,

wow what can i say? you are such a precious gift in my life, one that i can't ever live without... I love you sweet boy more than words can say. you are definately our little angel.

the first month or so was kinda hard for the both of us. but now we have gotten to know one another so well and we are definately a great team! i didnt used to know your little cries or what you wanted, and i think you didnt really know what you wanted either. but now i usually know what you want or need and when you are tired and you know me pretty well too. you know that i will do anything for you anytime you need me. some might say you are spoiled, i just say you are loved. you are what i wake up for and the last person i think of before i fall asleep. daddy is still very special to me but we both have to say you are what we both live for now... 

you have been smiling more and more and you have what i call a "silent laugh" that is so precious... you sometimes smile when mommy tickles your legs or belly other times you dont know what i am doing! you hold your head up so well and like to look around. when i hold you while sitting on the couch i let you put your feet in my hands and you try to climb over my shoulder... you dont know just how to do it yet but you still try so hard! mornings are your favorite time of the day. you wake up smiling and talking and kicking your legs like crazy. you love waking up with mommy and we talk and laugh for a long time. then it's time to eat and you are off for your first nap of the day. you are usually awake for an hour or two but then it's time for your naps and if you dont get them you get overly tired and it's hard to get you back to sleep. at night around 9 you get very fussy and want mommy to take you to her room and feed you so you can fall asleep and go to bed... you are sleeping so well for mommy and it's great!!! i even enjoy waking up and feeding you at night because you are so sweet and go right back to sleep afterwards. you are sleeping four to five hours once you are put to bed and then another three hours after that. and then you lay by mommy for another hour or two before you are ready to get up!!! you are now around 24 inches long and 13 lbs. you are growing so fast!!! i can go on and on about you Elijah but i think this is enough. i just want you to know that i will take care of you for as long as God allows and I love you more than words can say... Happy 2 months sweet baby boy. we prayed so hard for you and now you are already 2 months old! God is so good! 

Long week

it has been a long sad week for us but i just wanted to give a little update on my baby boy.

he is just a sweetheart! he loves his mornings and has so much fun with me! once i get some videos shortened and downloaded i will post them. the other day he was laying on his stomach and pushed himself all the way up!!! daddy said he did his first real pushup!!! he looked around and then dropped back down. it was sooo cute! he holds his head up so well but boy is he getting heavy. my back has taken a toll on me this week for sure. while at my friend's house this week she let me borrow an awesome swing that goes side to side and he loves it... so that helps me at home so i can get some things done when i have a chance. 

i plan on taking some adorable pics of him for his 2 month pics and i will get those on here as soon as i can! 

i dont really have much else to say right now. thank you for your prayers. tomorrow night and monday morning will be the hardest two days of my life.... keep praying for this wonderful family. they really appreciate it so much.

she has a long road ahead of her... so please keep praying. pray for everyone in this family. they are a close knit family and in some ways they are my second family. everyone in this family has so much love, support and respect for one another and they are broken right now. but every single one of them are relying on God right now. just pray that thru the different stages of grief  they continue to stick together. 

the visitation is Sunday and then the funeral is set for Monday morning. this is going to be the hardest thing i have ever endured and i know it's just a fraction of how they all feel especially Lindsey... she is the sweetest, kindest, most patient, loving, gentle, amazing person i have ever and will ever meet. she is the most wonderful mother and i have and will learn so much from her... pray that she realizes that she is still a great mother thru this pain right now. i know her so well and i know she is a forever changed woman and i dont think she will ever get over this. she needs strong prayers from everyone for strength to make it thru, day after day after day... for the rest of her life. so thank you for the prayers so far, but i need some prayer warriors that will remember her every single day for as long as you can. i can't emphasize this enough. i have never felt such sadness and grief as i have this week and it will haunt me for the rest of my life. i appreciate everything from you guys. yall are God fearing women and He hears your prayers. as women we have to be prayer warriors for Lindsey and her family. especially you mothers out there, each time you look at your child/children remember her, please!  Thank you again. i will post a picture of this beautiful little boy when i get one. He is truly in the arms of Jesus and she will be reunited one day with her baby boy.

please pray hard. my best friend's baby passed away today. her little boy was 14 months old. she has a three year old boy also. pray that i am the friend she needs at this time. i do not know how to be there for her. i dont know what i need to do. pray that God gives her strength. this is devastating news and i am not going to share details at this time. it was a very sudden accident and i just know her so well and she is going to need everyone's support and prayers more than the air she breathes. pray that her and her husband can get thru this time together and their son will be able to understand that his little brother, Jamie, is with Jesus. thank you guys.
