busy busy

well it's been a busy two weeks but it's been nice. the tuesday before last i went down to spend some time with my family. i had a great time. i got there on tuesday and went to see my brother Ryan at his job and brought him lunch and that was nice seeing where he works, even though he just got a new job! :) congrats Ryan! i am so happy for you.

then i went to my parents and visited with my mom and josh and then josh went with me to pick up Dustin from his job, and boy was that fun. the heavens opened up on us and man there was so much rain that it looked like we were in a car wash. i could barely see and then josh and i both looked at each other and realized that we had our sunglasses on! hahaah... it was funny!

so then josh and i picked up Dustin and went to the house and hung out with everyone... Michelle and Stephen came over that evening and i got to see my beautiful, most wonderful, adorable niece Addyson... she is such a precious baby.
We all stayed up so late that night just visiting and having fun. it's so nice to have such a big family. the next day i went to the mall and got my hair highlighted (brown, blonde and red) and i love it! then my mom and me and my sis and addyson and josh and dustin all went shopping at kohls on wed. ryan and elsa met us there too and it was so good to see them together. they are so cute and i cant wait till that day when we all celebrate at their wedding! :) we had a lot of fun and elsa and i got to pick out some dress clothes for Dustin. remember Dustin, if girls pick out what you wear then you will get girls! :) hahaha...and i think Elsa and i did a good job! then i helped Josh pick out some clothes and boy does he look handsome! Josh you have such good taste so with my help you are such a handsome guy!

i spent the night with my sis on wed night and that was nice. we went out to eat with my mom and dad to the spaghetti warehouse and then went back to michelle's place and relaxed. on thursday her and i attempted to go to sam's with my parents but it was raining so hard it looked like we were in a car wash (i know again right? but how else do you describe such awful rain?). so we just picked up josh and went through the drive through at chickfila and went back to my parents for the day.

josh went with me to pick up dustin from work and then we all came back and watched a movie with my mom. later that day we all went to eat at this wonderful place called pit masters. oh my goodness. that place is our favorite barbeque place and they have the best onion rings in the world! then we came back home and went for a bike ride and that was fun. my parents neighborhood has grown so much and well it's kinda sad. in the back where the new neighborhood was added on to the old all the trees are gone... so sad but hopefully in a few years they will grow back... such a pretty place though.. but the houses are so close together. no yards at all...

well friday i visited with just my mom in the morning and we had a good time. i love talking to my mom cuz we have so much in common. and i am sure we have more in common than we know....it's just so nice to visit with her alone because it's quiet. i love all my family but i dont get to talk much to my mom one on one... i feel like an old married woman when i talk to her cuz six years seems so long and we laugh and talk about so much... :) i love it mom. you are the best! and i miss you more than you know!

friday afternoon i picked up my sister in laws and took them to our place so they could stay with us for a while. they are still with us and it's been so fun. it was nice when dennis had to be gone for work and then when he was home we had even more fun. i am sure they are sick of going to walmart so much but how much cheaper can you get???? hhahahaha. walmart has EVERYTHING. even though i hate that place too.

i wish Dennis could have come with me to visit my family but he had to work and i know that next time he will come with me! thank you for working so hard Dennis. i am so glad you have such a great job now. i know you are so much happier.
i am off tomorrow and wed and i am so excited. i love being off. and i love having two days off together in the middle of the week. it's so nice. us girls are going to get a pedicure tomorrow! :) ya for pedi's! and then we are going to go shopping for some frames. i am finally going to hang up some of our pictures from our cruise from last year! gosh i am so slow but i dont ever get too crazy with pictures when i live in apartments... but i think i just might now... we have also been playing pictionary a lot while they are here and it's so fun. even though Dennis can draw really good and i can't i still do pretty good! :) and we have gone for ice cream at Braum's several times so now it's Monday and it's back on the diet! i want to lose 20 more lbs. 14 down and 20 to go. praise the Lord!
i love cheat days but i have had too many this month... so now i am in to it again and i will conquer! :)

my brother Wade is back from his trip across the world. i cant wait to see him. it's been a while and i want to hear all about his trip. i am hoping to come down in a week or two so we shall see.
i hope that everyone is doing well. i am keeping up with Lindsay's twins and Suze's quads and my prayers are with yall. i just want one baby but gosh two or four????? ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...

Happy 25th Birthday to My wonderful Husband!

Dennis, Happy Birthday babe! i am so blessed to be spending another birthday with you and seeing how far we have come from the year before. I love you so much and i thank you for being the man you are today. through the years we have had to work very hard with our relationship and other times it's been easy and i thank you for hanging in there through our good times and our bad times! God has truly blessed me with you as a best friend, husband and future daddy of our children... You truly are my best friend. i could not live without you and God by my side every day of my life. Without the two of you where would i be?
I pray you have a wonderful day and i will spoil you rotten as i do every year... Birthdays are so important to me and i am glad to see that they have become more important to you over the years... it's not "just another day" it's marking the day you were born year after year and showing you just how good God's promises are... and how faithful He is year after year... I pray that this year is the best, most amazing year of your life, and that they just get better from here on out...
Do you remember your 18th birthday? I was planning something so sweet and it was not what i had imagined... i made you your favorite cake and got ready to leave and my car would not start... i was so upset... so you had to come pick me up (which was nice cuz you had your mustang and it was more fun than my little sentra) and i had the cake in a pan covered with aluminum foil. well as we were driving the pan slid around on the floor and by the time we got to your place to drop it off it was a mess! the frosting was all over the aluminum foil and half of it was at the other end of the pan so half the cake had no frosting at all! i was so upset and wanted to cry cuz i was trying to do something sweet for you... but you made me feel better and promised it didnt matter what it looked like. and then you told me that you had it for breakfast and at lunch and dinner till it was gone and it was gone fast! :) i was so happy you enjoyed it...
i know we have many stories that we could sit and talk for hours about but just remember birthdays are special in our family and they always will be. each year will be better than the last... i love you Dennis... and i will always love you. Happy Birthday sweetie...

ok, so my sis wants me to update... hmmmmmmmmmmmmm what to talk about.....
well my hubby's new job is amazing... he loves it and is so happy and that's what matters most. everyone knows that a happy wife is a happy life BUT we also know that if the hubby isnt happy then no one is happy! :)
congrats Dennis on the new job. i love you and thank you for working so hard and i knew that God would provide a wonderful job for you one day and He has! thank you for working so hard to get there, you deserve it.
my job has been going ok. i am praying to change positions very soon but again i am leaving that in God's hands... He knows my heart's desires and so i know whatever is meant to be will happen.
the weather here and probably for most of you guys living in southeast TX has been awful. gosh today they said that Tyler has received 42 inches of rain already for the year, that is amazing. i am tired of the rain and i hope it will end soon...
i hope that everyone is doing good. i am excited because next week i am going to get to see my family and see how big Addyson is getting... she is getting prettier and cuter by the day....
i cant wait to see you guys!
