ok, so i have been wanting to make a Christmas basket and i finally did! well i didnt handmake the basket itself but i bought the basket and everything else and made it all work! i painted the tips of each pine cone (20-27 i lost count) with glitter glue... and it turned out so pretty. and then i put the garland around the handle on the basket and put potpouri at the bottom and the pine cones on top... looks AND smells good! well i was happy because my hubby loved it and he was surprised. from how i described what i had WANTED to do and what i DID do it was totally different... so i am excited that it turned out and now i have a pretty holiday centerpiece that goes with our kitchen and dining area... :) i guess i can get a little creative at times. it takes me a while to piece it together though. i walked around Michaels forever picking up stuff and putting it back and finding this and finding that.... it was fun though! :)

i love your basket! you did a great job, kristen! you know what is so funny about that? i was looking at magazines yesterday at the store trying to figure out some new holiday decorations. i was feeling crafty...i didn't find anything that i liked, though. maybe you should make me a basket. i really like it!
