How Elijah's growing:Turn on the radio and sway to the music. With his sense of movement well developed by now, your baby can feel you dance. And now that he's more than 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound (about as much as a large mango), you may be able to see him squirm underneath your clothes. Blood vessels in his lungs are developing to prepare for breathing, and the sounds that your baby's increasingly keen ears pick up are preparing his for entry into the outside world. Loud noises that become familiar now — such as your dog barking or the roar of the vacuum cleaner — probably won't faze him when he hears them outside the womb.
i just love this picture... i cant wait to see what he looks like... it's funny i was watching my belly last night and he was making it move... he would kick or punch hard and i just loved watching...
ok so i have experienced some pretty strong ligament pain... it is NOT fun. especially when Elijah thinks it's fun to kick mommy in that area.... it was on my right side down low most the morning yesterday and boy did it hurt... then he would shift over there and kick and i would almost double over... luckily i am feeling much better now.
i cant believe that i have 17 weeks (give or take) left... it's so awesome and amazing. having his bed together is so nice, we both walk in there from time to time to check it out. it's such a big change of scenery for us, cuz it's always been just the two of us. now we will always have another bed for our little guy to sleep in... (well until he moves out but that wont be for quite a while!)
i hope that everyone is doing well... my family is still out of power due to Ike. i feel so bad and i know the temperatures are taking a toll on them. i pray that the power is turned on today!
have a wonderful wednesday everyone! God bless!
