How E is growing:Your baby now weighs about 4 3/4 pounds (like your average cantaloupe) and is almost 18 inches long. His fat layers — which will help regulate his body temperature once he's born — are filling him out, making him rounder. His skin is also smoother than ever. His central nervous system is maturing and his lungs are continuing to mature as well. If you've been nervous about preterm labor, you'll be happy to know that babies born between 34 and 37 weeks who have no other health problems generally do fine. They may need a short stay in the neonatal nursery and may have a few short-term health issues, but in the long run, they usually do as well as full-term babies.
Not much going on here... i am excited to say i have six weeks left (give or take a little) before i get to hold my precious son in my arms...I am now 7 1/2 months pregnant!!! i am getting more nervous as each week progresses about the labor and delivery part... but i know somehow it will all work out. it's going to be so awesome to be the one having a baby and having Dennis by my side instead of being the one visiting a friend or family member that just gave birth... it's definately going to be different being on the other side this time. i cant wait to see daddy and son together too. it is going to be a dream come true.
i am so excited that Christmas is just 2 weeks away!!! i have 10 more work days left and then i get two days off! i am hoping that it is nice and cold that week so it feels like Christmas! today is sooooooooooo cold and of course in a matter of two days it will be back up in the 60's or 70's... that's good ol' Texas for ya!
I think i am ready for our baby to come...I dont feel ready but i look around at our home and i think i am ready... i am sure i will find little things to do after the holidays. i cant believe that our 8 year anniversary is just around the corner and new years too! ahhhhhhhhhh... it's going so fast! i hope that all of you are having a good week so far!

wow 6 weeks.. that's crazy. get the sleep while you can! lol. elijah is already so spoiled and loved and he's not even here yet!
i can't believe how close it is to christmas!! we will have fun.. i hope it's cold too. hey it snowed on spring break so why can't it snow on christmas? lol.

hahah dancing to britney??? um IF i were dancing i would not be dancing to her music! LOL i think that ticker thing needs to be more updated to the better singers out there! LOL
yes he is already very spoiled. i love him so much. and it's kinda fun waking him up from time to time when i talk or move or scratch my belly cuz i know that he will get me back very very soon!!!
oh and um it usually cant snow on Christmas cuz i think it's an unwritten law with Texas (only snow on random days of the year but NOT on Christmas day) haahaha... j.k we can have faith!
