Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

ok guys i am slacking and i have pics saved on my computer at home but since i am at work i will just post about our Christmas.
we had a great time! dennis' mom, sisters and step dad drove up here on Christmas Eve morning and we all hung out and ate lots of goodies that Dennis' mom brought us. we had cheese dip and little sausages and chex mix mmmmmm... we had more but those were my favorites! "bring on the food", says the prego woman! LOL
it was so nice to visit with them and catch up with all of them. it was so great to have our apartment full of people! and i got to show off Elijah's room and his little clothes to all of them!
dennis had to go back to work that afternoon since he was working the night shift so we all just relaxed and goofed off. then his mom and step dad went to a hotel (to sleep better cuz our place is kinda small) and us girls went to go look at some lights. then we came back and ate some more and watched the movie The Christmas Shoes... that movie always makes me cry but it's so sweet. that little boy in that movie is so precious!
Christmas morning we all got up and started warming up the food and cooking whatever was left to cook. i made cinnamon rolls for breakfast and once dennis' other sister got there with her kiddos we all opened presents... it was so fun to see what everyone got each other... Dennis got me a beautiful watch and a red bathrobe and a docking system for my ipod! he was so sweet and thought of me with everything he got me... :) his mom got me a gorgeous cross necklace from James Avery and some very awesome skecher shoes i wanted! and Joni got me some yankee candles that i could smell forever!!!! and Kristina got me the original BKE perfume from the Buckle... they all were so sweet and they all loved what we got them as well... :)
then we ate and ate and ate! ha we had such yummy food! mashed potatoes and gravy, corn casserole, green bean casserole, ham, turkey, broccoli and cheese casserole, rolls and of course DESSERT! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
i still have leftovers! gosh!
it was such a fun time and then it was so sad to see everyone go that afternoon. i wish everyone could have stayed longer but i am just thankful they came to see us. so sweet and wonderful to travel on the holidays for us... Dennis' mom helped me so much and i didnt feel overwhelmed with everything and we got it all done so quick! when they left the place was so clean! i thought i would have to pick up after everyone but it looked just like the day they got there! thank you guys! :)
i cant believe that the next time we see any of our family will be when we are welcoming our new son into this world. ahhhhhhhhhhhhh so exciting!!! and next Christmas is going to be fun. my two guys will have a blast for sure! i feel so blessed!
