hi

hey everyone!

i hope you guys are all doing great. we are doing pretty good. just staying busy. i just cant believe how big my baby boy is getting! i weighed him today and he is 16 lbs!!! gosh he is so adorable too and so fun. he cuddles more with me now. when i pick him up he will cuddle against my chest and suck his thumb. ahhhhhhhhh, i am proud to say he is definately a momma's boy. BUT i have to say that since i went to see my family for a couple days he did miss his daddy so much. he was so happy to be home and have his daddy play with him. he even fell asleep on Dennis' lap too. it's so funny how different he is with us both. with me i rock him to sleep or have him cuddle on my chest and with Dennis he can have E sit in his lap and lean back in his arms and fall asleep. it's amazing that at just 3 and a half months this kid knows us so well and knows what he likes with each one of us. i am so in love with him that it makes me proud to see how well he is growing, but it makes me sad that my baby is growing up so fast!!! my mom told me that when i was 5 months old i was pulling myself up in my crib and standing, holding on to the crib rails. and then at nine months i was RUNNING... not walking, but RUNNING. gosh i dont think i want E to Walk or Run that early!!! my poor mom. of course then she had my sister and michelle was laid back and an easy baby... ha she needed that with chasing me around for sure!

he doesnt sleep through the night yet. he was sleeping 10-5 for a long time but has sine decided that his mommy was getting too much sleep at one time so he wanted to make a change and keep me on my toes. LOL. he only wakes up for a few minutes and is back to sleep quick, i just think he missed me and wanted to have me hold him just to reassure him that i was still there. LOL, i know, you are thinking "ok kristen, whatever you want to believe" hahaaha. i have to think positive, especially when i only get 2 to 3 hours of straight sleep at a time. 

he is definately a little ham too. he loves to smile and laugh and play. he is doing really good at reaching for things and can hold on to certain toys long enough to put them in his mouth. he absolutely loves his hands though, especially at bath time. i cant get him to take them out of his mouth long enough to wash them and his face!!! it's so funny. 

when i was pregnant i could never really picture him or imagine what he would be like. and now that he is here and almost four months old i am in awe of how adorable and sweet he is. of course we have our moments and he can be difficult but i am praying for an easy toddler... to make up for some of these "difficult moments". either way he is my little angel and i am making the most of every moment with him. difficult or easy, either way we make it work somehow!

i am excited about this coming weekend! my brother Wade is graduating college!!! we are so proud of him and his hard work. it's going to be lots of fun and i am going to make sure we get lots of pics. 

i hope you guys have a great rest of the week and a wonderful weekend. and i hope this rain lets up. it's been awful. i know the saying "April showers bring May flowers" but come on! April has provided us with more than enough rain that's for sure!!! those flowers better be really pretty in May!
