Happy 9 months sweet Elijah Dean

Dear Elijah,

Wow!!! This has been big month for you! You have been sooo busy! We went to Ryan and Elsa's wedding and that was a wonderful day for all of us! We got some great pictures of you, you were soooo handsome! This month you have learned to do so much! I was very very surprised at how much you have started doing in just a few weeks!

So let's see.... 

Now you can go from laying down on the floor to sitting up in just seconds. You pull yourself up on everything!!! One day i was telling your Grandma and Grandpa that you still havent pulled yourself up in your crib, the next day after your nap i walked in and there you were grinning ear to ear standing up in your crib! You were sooooo excited and proud of yourself. I was laughing so hard! I love seeing your face when you accomplish something, you are such a big boy!

You are still doing the army crawl but the past few days you have been crawling on your hands and knees. you are determined to get into everything very fast!!!!

Then the other day we were playing "patty cake, patty cake" and you were loving it, when i put you down i turned away and looked back and there you were, clapping your hands! you were so excited to be doing it on your own. now when you are happy you clap your hands. it's soooo cute!!!! 

you love to laugh, and when we laugh you start cracking up! it's hilarious to watch and hear. in the car you love to talk and you sound so serious and then out of the blue you will laugh really hard and then start talking again. soooo funny. i am glad you love to laugh cuz daddy and mommy laugh all the time! you are such a happy baby.

the one thing we have to work on is your temper. you hate it when we take something away from you or wont let you have something. you will arch your back and scream and bite and squeeze our faces... it's not pretty and it's not fun. most the time i will set you on the floor and walk away. we will break this eventually!!!! but still i have to say you are the sweetest baby ever.

you love to relax and watch cartoons with daddy... you sit on his lap and lean back against him and just rock with him. it's soooo cute! sometimes you like to rock with mommy too. you love to be hugged and kissed and held. but sometimes you just love your toys. you always know when you have a new toy. i will put you on the floor and you take off for it and play for a long time with it. you and daddy wrestle all the time now. and you love riding on his shoulders. anytime you are fussy or upset he will put you up on his shoulders and you are happy again. 

This month has definately been the busiest for you and it's been great. you are such a smart and sweet baby. oh and you love to make noises with your mouth and if we do it you copy us. it's so funny. of course we get spit on a lot! LOL. 

we are having the best time with you Elijah and love having you in our lives. i cant believe we have had you as long as i was pregnant with you. it's amazing how much time has passed, we prayed for you for four long years and here you are... 9 months old!!!! love you baby boy...
