Happy 10 Months Elijah!

My sweet Elijah Dean

you are 10 months old today... where has the time gone? We have so much fun with you! You laugh and play so much more and it's just hilarious to watch you. You love balls, any kind... especially daddy's football! Your friend, Camden, came over and found Daddy's football in the garage and ever since you have been playing with it! You are loving our new house! it's so much fun for you. When we get up in the morning I have to run around feeding the dog and taking the trash out and you follow me back and forth from the kitchen to the back rooms. it's so fun! 

in our front living and dining room we dont have furniture yet so daddy, you and me will go in there with some of your favorite balls and we all chase them from one side of the room to the other! if we say "i'm gonna get it" you crawl really fast after it and then fall on the ball and start laughing! Then daddy will spin you around and set you on the floor and you rock back and forth all dizzy, it's so cute! then you will fall over on your back and laugh! You now have two new top teeth too! so now you have four teeth and it's so cute. you love cheerios and eating from mommy's plate! ha... when i get my food you try to climb all over me begging for food so i have to put you in the high chair and share my food. you love maccaroni, mashed potatoes, french fries, spaghetti...well basically ANYTHING mommy has on her plate. ha! you still eat baby food but you eat pretty much whatever i give you. you even love ice cream! i let you try it once and you loved it but you still finished your dinner. you are such a good baby! i am so glad you arent picky... well so far you arent. ha we will have to see what happens later. 

when i say "Elijah let's go bye bye" you get excited and if i walk away to get something you cry and follow me as if you think i will leave you! today while you and daddy were playing he said "Elijah where's your tennis ball?" and you crawled to the living room and said something to daddy in your baby talk and then crawled back to daddy, then you crawled to the living room and reached under the couch and got it! you knew exactly what daddy was saying!!!! it was so awesome! if i say "Elijah you want some cheerios?" you get so excited and wait for me to give them to you... how did we get such a smart baby??? :)

your new friend's mommy let you borrow their swing and you love it. we can swing you for a long time and you dont even want out... one day you looked like you were going to fall asleep in it. when you see a doggy or kitty walk by you start yelling and get really excited! you love animals. the other day you chased your aunt's kitty around the couch at Grandma's. it was so funny. you just love that cat!!! the kitty isnt too sure of you though. ha ha....

you love patty cake and you do it all by yourself too!!! you will sit down and clap your hands and then roll your  hands over and over. it's so cute! if i say "Elijah clap your  hands" you clap your hands... or if i say "patty cake patty cake" you clap your hands. you love your bath time and playing with your toys in the water...you are starting to listen to us when we tell you no. the other day you were turning the water on in the bath tub because you can reach it. and i told you no several times... now when you turn it on on accident you sit down and say "oh"... it's so cute!!! you listen when you want to and mommy and daddy are trying to stay consistent so we dont confuse you. when you get up in the morning or after your nap you like to cuddle in mommy or daddy's lap and let us rock you... you give hugs and kisses... sometimes you bite when you give kisses because i dont think you quite understand. plus with your new top teeth you arent sure what to think! 

you are growing up so fast baby boy and each new day is a wonderful blessing. we love you more than words can say and we will never stop telling you that! you are such a wonderful child, Elijah Dean... I love you sweetheart!
