Happy Birthday Elijah Dean!

Ok so i really cant believe that this day is here and actually almost over... sigh... why did you have to grow up so fast? i still remember the day you were born. it was a rough day on mommy but it was the best day of our lives. you came in to our lives and we have never been the same. Thank you sweet boy for bringing such happiness to us. Every day we watch you grow and we love you more and more. You are such a happy, fun and sweet baby.

We can ask for a hug and you will lay your head on our shoulder and pat our back.

Today you started shaking your head for "no" when you do not want something.

Today i stood you up and let go and you stood there by yourself for about 15 seconds before sitting down!

You say "ball" all the time and LOVE balloons!!! they are balls to you and you yell "BALL" everytime you see one. If you see a whole bunch of balloons you yell really loud "ah, ah ah" until i let you down to play with them!

You love riding in your new red wagon and anytime we put you in it you smile and sit really still. We pull you all over the house in it and outside too. you take your cup with you and love having cheerios in the cup holder to snack on!

You love playing with other kids. Addyson is your favorite, she makes you laugh and plays so well with you. You love it when she hugs and kisses you too. you both have some cute pictures together! we even let yall take a bath together and you loved having a friend in there with you!

If it is windy outside you laugh and shake your head and love it!!! We have had some really windy and cold weather lately but you dont care! you love the wind!

Rough housing with daddy is your favorite! and you love to play hide and seek. you will put your doggy, or a blanket over your head and wait for us to say "Where is Elijah" or "Where is the baby?" and then you pull it off your head!

you love to crawl in and out of our cabinets. especially the ones in our bathroom. you crawl in side and sit up and laugh! it's so cute!

you love it when daddy spins you around and then sets you on the ground. you are dizzy and then you crawl really fast and daddy will chase you and do it again! so precious!

you eat almost anything we give you and you still eat some baby food. you love scrambled eggs, mac and cheese, lasagna, spaghetti, fettuchini, french fries, chicken, bread, peas, fruit, and popsicles! :)

When you crawl down the hallway we will hide around the corner and when you find us you roll on the floor laughing!!! you just know we will tickle you and then run and hide again. you love it!!!

you love trucks and cars and balls. they are your favorite. you also love music. you dance to it in the bath, when you eat or even in the car. it's so cute!

you had a bad cold this month so you havent been sleeping very well at night but we are working on this. tonight in fact you went to bed and only cried for 2 minutes! and now you are asleep. you are growing up so fast sweet boy! we love watching you and teaching you new things.

We had the best birthday party for you this year!!! it was so fun.

The people that came were:

Grandma, Grandpa, Grammy, Grandy, Uncle Stephen, Aunt Michelle, Addyson, Uncle Ryan, Uncle Dustin, Uncle Josh (we call him the baby whisperer cuz you love him sooo much!!!), Uncle Matt, Danielle, Mike, Stori, Alexis, Braeden, Great Grandpa, Aunt Elsa, Aunt Joni, Aunt Kristina, Jenny, Matt, Camden, Wendy, Logan, Landon, Amber, David, Allen, Dani, Aeden, Madden, and Trinity. I think i got everyone... it was so much fun! you were chasing the older kids around and playing all day with them. you had a great time!

Then we gave you a cupcake and you ate the whole thing! you werent sure of it at first but i broke it up a little and you dug in to it! you had blue icing everywhere! it was so cute!

you got so many new toys and new clothes and we are so thankful for everyone! so many people love you Elijah Dean! i hope you know you are loved and if not then we will keep telling you every single day!

Elijah, we love you so much! Thank you for coming into our lives and being the baby you are... i know when you get older you wont remember these days but i will remind you of them. you are such a precious baby and we are so thankful for you. God has truly blessed us beyond words. I can never describe the love I have for you. and it grows as each day passes. Stay sweet my little angel. We love you always!
