Happy 16 Months Jackson!

Jackson,
my sweet baby boy.
the time is flying by... i can't believe you are 16 months already. i feel like i have blinked too long and this month flew by. you are just soooo adorable and growing too fast. i think this month was a pretty big month for you. you are acting more like a big boy this month. you love sitting on the couch now and know how to get off of it without falling. it seemed like that happened over night. you always yell for us to put you up there if you can't... some couches depending on the house we are at you can do it yourself and you have the cutest look on your face. like "look at me, i did it!"
you absolutely love trucks and balls. if i say "jackson where is your truck" you go get one... you love balls and hate that our puppy likes them too. haha
you light up every morning when you see your big brother. sometimes yall fight and it drives me crazy. you will throw toys at him and he gets mad and hits or shoves you... oh boy!
you get so excited when you see daddy and want him to hold you... you raise your arms to either one of us asking us to pick you up... you don't say a lot still but i know what you want. i try to teach you words and you understand us...but just don't feel like talking yet.
you say "hi" in the cutest voice... and "hot" and "ball" and "bath"....
you waive so cute too...
you also have a temper...if you don't get your way you gently lay yourself on the floor and scream. or you grab the nearest thing and chunk it... not excluding my phone or the tv remote. lol... i just laugh at you... it's funny....
you are such a momma's boy... and when Elijah was sick last week you would get jealous and want me to hold you too...
you have so many teeth now i can't keep count. some are still trying to come in but you are doing great.
you don't eat as many things as you used to but you are still a great eater.
you absolutely love being outside and throw fits when we come in. you can be cuddly a little more lately too... we love it!
with this time change you are waking up super early and going back to bed and sleeping late...
we are working on selling our house and so you don't have too many toys to play with but you are a simple kid. just a truck and a ball and you are happy...
sweet boy you are so fun! we laugh all the time. you have the funniest dance, laugh and smile... i don't know what we would do without you.... you bring this momma such joy!
you are 32 1/2 inches tall and 23 lbs!
don't grow too fast Jackson... i love having you as a baby... i will always be here for you... don't ever forget that, no matter how old you are!

Happy 15 Months Jackson! (a day late)

Time is going by way too fast Jackson!

you are getting so big!

you are getting so smart too! you say a few words and are better at saying the ones you always say. you walk around calling "mom" and say "dad" a lot... you say thank you all the time but when you want something you scream!! it's sooooo loud and annoying. lol.

you love to tackle your brother and daddy. you love your momma... you still don't like big crowds of people and always run to find me. 

you are my easy going baby for the most part but you are very mischievous. into everything... naptime is when i can get things done. other than that i can't... you get into drawers and break stuff and climb on stuff and fall... haha

you love our puppy Rudolph... he scratches and bites but we are being more careful with that. you love to hit him (your way of saying hi)... he loves you cuz you are little and he hates it when you cry...

you are so loveable and give kisses and hugs all the time... my sweet Jackson, you are growing up way too fast!!! i love you sweet angel!!!

Happy 14 Months Jackson!

 

Jackson! 14 months old today... man oh man. you are quite the character... we love you so much!
you are so sweet. you love to come up to us with your jibber jabber and it's so cute. you act like you are telling us something so important and you use your hands when you talk too.
you are saying "hi doggy" now...you really like our new puppy... you scream if he climbs on you and it's so funny...
you have a molar and i think you are getting another. you dont sleep well at night anymore and you are cranky and clingy.
you are so loveable and give hugs and kisses. you even blow kisses now too.
you can eat a whole piece of pizza and more if we let you! you eat so well... so much food for such a little guy!
you laugh and smile so much. you love Elijah more and more each day too... 
of course you adore your daddy!!! yall have so much fun as each week passes. 
you love to dance. you wave your hands like playing air drums... and you bounce up and down while you wave your hands... it's so cute!!!!
when i get you out of the bath you scream and try to wriggle out of my arms. you would stay in the bath all day and all night if i let you!
sweet Jackson, life just wouldn't be the same without you!!!

Happy 4th Birthday Elijah Dean

Elijah!
Wow you are 4 today. I can't believe it. I look at you and it's like i blinked too long and here you are turning 4. i still remember the night before i had you...the moment they laid you in my arms that Sunday afternoon. i remember kissing you and crying... my heart was filled with more love than i knew what to do with... you are the cutest, funniest, little stinker ever... you say the craziest things and make us laugh daily... you do frustrate me. poor boy, you are my first so i am learning with you... we both yell so much. ha i have to work on that... but man i get so frustrated... not because i dont love you but i dont know what to do! ha...

you can be such a grown up boy sometimes too. you talk with a deeper voice and say such intelligent things. you are learning what lying is. i dont like that. you used to be so upfront and honest... you would tattle on yourself! now you lie from time to time... but you dont keep it going long. you laugh and say "i'm just joking"

you love to cuddle and "hold you"... that's still one of your sayings. i will miss it when you say it right. just like all the other things you have learned to say right...
you tell me you want to do school at home one day. :) you tell me i am the best mom in the whole world, even on my worst days. you love to give me hugs and kisses, butterfly and eskimo ones too. 
you love to help me when i need it. you love to help with Jackson too... 
you love to dance with me. anytime i even attempt to dance while being silly you say "hold my hands and dance with me momma"..

if i hold Jackson you get jealous and say "momma, i never get to hold you" 
you are on a huge super hero kick! we spoiled you so much with so many toys for christmas and you love them all. you say "i really appreciate it" or "thank you so much, i really love it"
your smile is just tooooo adorable. when i get upset at you i just cant stay mad. i hate seeing you cry. i dont get on to you for fun though Elijah. i would be doing you an injustice if i didn't make sure you learn how to behave... :) being a parent is not easy!!! but so far you love me and say i am the best so i guess i am doing something right???

your laugh is so cute, you copy people, you tease and make others laugh. 
you are growing lately... i can't give you enough food! always hungry... i just wish you were less picky... but i am feeding you what i can! i want you to be big and strong!
you love batman and spiderman right now... you have us call you Bruce Wayne most days and Jackson's name is Jack Bruce... hahaha we dont know why you call him that but it's too cute! 
you have the BEST imagination!!!! i pray you never lose it!!!

i love listening to you play. always have always will. you love to wrestle and fight with daddy and with your friend Ethan. he is your newest friend and yall get along great. i am so glad you have a friend your age that you love to be around... him and Addyson are your favorite kids. 
you adore Jackson. some days you pick on him and push him around but other days you are so kind to him... if he gets any attention then you get super jealous... it's hard cuz you were my baby for so long before i had Jackson and you dont understand sometimes.

you like things done a certain way.... when you have your rest time at nap time if you hear me in the hallway or i come in the bedroom i have to hug and kiss you again... if i forget you yell "dont forget about hugs and kisses" lol... i get frustrated if i am busy but i always give you hugs and kisses.
you love to watch a movie over and over... it will be the same movie for weeks and then you will switch to another...

last night i made you popcorn and we ate it in bed and you said "why did you make popcorn? because you know i love it?" and i said yes... you gave me a hug...
i'm so blessed to call you mine. some days are rough but we make it through and i will tell you this. i wouldn't trade one rough day for a minute without you. 

God made me a mom when He gave me you and I dont know what i would do without you.
i am so thankful to be able to stay home with you... i couldn't bear to say goodbye to you... it's hard enough going to the store without you. i always think of you and can't wait to get back to you...
you have such a great time with your daddy... you make him think you dont ever play alone. lol... i know you miss him most days... but you sure do have fun with him when he is home. :) 
he is learning too Elijah, and is trying to teach you everything he can about being a tough boy and growing up to be a strong man... :)

Jackson adores you... he lights up when he sees you... he loves to play with you too... he may bite and pull your hair but it's all out of love... i love watching yall hug and kiss... such a precious sight!!!

you tell me you pray every day for snow. :) i hope Jesus brings you some snow soon. you want to make snow angels. :) you love Christmas and Halloween so much... you wore your batman costume every day for two months! your poor costume is worn out...i love going to get the mail with you in it and having the moms at the bus stop say how awesome it is to have Batman taking care of our neighborhood... :)

This was a crazy year for you... adjusting to a new brother, being sick and diagnosed with HSP... Elijah, i have never been so scared in my life, but thank the good Lord you are fine!!! my healthy boy!!!! my big strong blonde haired blue-eyed baby boy. 

Elijah, keep that imagination, keep loving Jesus and stay the sweet boy i love so much... my heart aches knkowing that each year will fly by faster and faster, but i know that you are my son and always will be. the memories will always be there, and we will do our best to be the best parents that you deserve. i love you and i love you more each day.

We are going to have the best weekend ever!!! Daddy is bringing our puppy home tonight...Michelle, Addyson and Simon are going to stay the night, I'm surprising you and taking you to Jump N Jungle to meet Addyson and Ethan... and then your party is tomorrow!!!!

Happy 13 Months (a day late) Jackson!

Wow! i can't believe you are 13 months old! Time is going by too fast... it's so fun seeing you grow and learn new things though. you are such a ham and so easy going... you love your little family and we are your world that's for sure!!! when you are tired, hungry or don't feel good you want mommy... when you are ready to go crazy you want your brother and when you want to be held just for the heck of it you want  your daddy... we all love you so much.
you say thank you now more often and it's so cute! when i say "let's go get the mail" you run to the front door and get excited. when i say "hey do you want a bath?" you run to our bathroom and get super excited as you wait by the bath tub!
when you are tired you wave night night. when you wake up you say hi and wave. you said Jackson today but i'm not sure if you mean to? you say Elijah all the time. when you see daddy you say "Dad" it's so cute!
you get nervous around crowds and freak out if i go to hand you to someone else. you like people but at a distance. and less of them... you get that from your daddy.. :)
you love to walk around in a circle and spin around in a circle. when you walk backwards or sideways you think you are hot stuff!
you LOVE music. if you are fussy and i start singing to you, you lay down on me and listen and go to sleep. you love to dance too...
we have so much fun with you sweet boy! you definitely light up our world!!!!
you and your brother have so much fun together and yall will definitely be best buds!!!

Elijah Dean!

In one short month our Elijah Dean will be 4 years old! I can't believe it!!! Such a big boy! :) I can't wait to plan his birthday party!

Jackson, you are 1 today... I can't believe it. Nope, I can't... Time has gone by so fast, i can't remember what life was like before you... I remember it wasn't complete and now it is... You fit right in. you are my sweet little guy and I can't imagine a life without you...
You are getting so big too! You give kisses now too! You try to say "tickle tickle" and put your fingers on your chest and belly. You can say certain things but only once at a time. you dont really repeat yourself. it's so cute! you can say Elijah and it sounds so precious.
you adore your big brother and he makes you laugh and smile like no one else.
when you get shy you lay your head on my shoulder... after your nap or when you want to be held you will lay your head on my shoulder and squeeze and pat my shoulder... it's sooooo adorable! ok! everything you do is adorable... you run around with your mouth open excited about life! you love cars, balls, books and anything your brother is playing with.
you have such a happiness about you. it's contagious...
you get so mad and throw the biggest fits when we take something away or get you out of a room and shut the door. ha you get mad!!!!
I just can't believe it's been a year... a year since i gave birth to a sweet baby boy... your arm was broken at birth and you looked so helpless but looking back at pictures you were a strong newborn. already holding your head up just hours old...
you were 8 lbs 15 oz. and boy we thought you were big but man your pictures say different. you were so small!!!!
i remember how attached you were to me... if i walked into a room and you heard me you cried until i held you... now you do the same... a year later and still do it. you love your momma! makes my heart melt...
you love to walk back wards and yesterday you were walking in a circle. it was so funny. you thought you were just too funny!
you gave Elijah and I kisses tonight... Elijah loved it!!!
There is so much i could write about you! You are so fun! right now you are laughing hysterically at me while i type on the computer... haha... love you Jackson!

Happy 11 Months Jackson Isaiah (one day late)

Jackson!

I am amazed at you every day!! you have such a sweet disposition and you are so smart! You walk all the time and hardly ever fall... you mostly fall when your big brother knocks you down. Ha! you are going to be one tough kid that's for sure!

you are saying more words now and even though you may not use them all the time i know just what you are saying... you wave bye bye so cute too! and when you are tired you will wave "night night" when i pick you up... you are not sleeping so well at night but it's ok... i will live!
you had hand, foot disease a few weeks ago and that was not fun... you are so tough though!!! you kept chugging along! you had one really bad day with a high fever but we took good care of you and your fever broke after 12 hours...
you love to move the kitchen chairs all over the house. you are so cute when you play with your brothers cars too. you will study them and move them a little and look at them again. then you walk away and then come back and move them a little and study them again... i can just see the wheels turning in your head. you are going to have a love of cars just like Elijah...
you have the cutest laugh and get so silly with us. you love to wrestle with daddy and Elijah. you and Elijah get so crazy in our hallway and wrestle like crazy. of course we have to referee and make sure you don't get hurt but boy you have fun!
i love taking pictures of you too. you are so sweet and smile all the time. i always wonder what you are thinking about too... at night Elijah will go to bed and you will play all by yourself in the living room and i just love to watch you... you see me watching you and you will run to me and act as if you are giving me a big hug and then go play... you give kisses too (when you aren't biting us) and i love that! you say "mama" "dada" "bubba" and we think you say Elijah too! Daddy pointed at pictures of Elijah and it sounded like you said his name!!!
I just can't believe that you will be on in a month. we are going to have a Mickey Mouse birthday party for you and your brother is going to help me decorate and get ready for it... Daddy is going to bbque some good food and I am going to make you your first cupcake!
Oh you clap your hands now too! anytime we say "yay Jackson" or "clap your hands" you will clap. and when we say dance you will dance!!! 
you are not a cuddly baby but you still love your mommy! and you always reach for daddy! you love your daddy so much!!! you will walk over to him and slap his arm as if to say "hey dad pick me up!" haha... so cute!
we have had the best time with you Jackson and I could not imagine life without you... you are my gentle, sweet, quiet, loveable little angel and life is so complete with you in it!!!!

**you have two teeth on top and two more trying to come in. you have two on bottom and a third coming in...
you eat everything except meat. i havent given you any meat yet but you love food! you feed yourself so well and really havent fought me on any food. you are so easy to feed when we go to restaurants. you are so chill too. you just hang out and are very quiet... very rarely do you cry unless you just want to be held... you are such an easy going baby!!! LOVE YOU JACKSON!!!
