Thanksgiving week...

Thanksgiving was fun... i had a great time with my siblings and mom and dad and my brother's future in laws :) i also had a great week with Dennis and his sisters. Dennis was home a lot more the weekend before Thanksgiving but has been at work every since Thursday... i miss him. he has come home for a few hours but still working a lot... i missed him, this was our 10th thanksgiving together... i cant believe that almost a decade has gone by since we met... wow i feel old! :)
i picked up his sisters on a friday night and we drove home that night too... 8 hours of being in my small car was not too great but on the way back it was fun having them to keep me awake! ha i told them to wake me up when we got there but that didnt fly too well so i kept my eyes on the road... we all fell into bed by 2 am on saturday and slept for quite a while.... we had a good time hanging out and they kept me company while dennis worked... they are such sweet and funny girls. i love them so much~ Joni and Kristina, i cant wait to do it again!

on thursday morning we all left for houston, and we met their mom and they went home and i went to my parents. i got to help my mom cook and we spent quite a few hours in the kitchen but it was nice. i love going there and seeing everyone. i love that they miss me too!
i have some funny pics from that day that i will put up after i post this. they are so cute! my sis and brother in law got there that evening and i got to see my niece! she is so adorable and happy and precious and just so darn cute! i had so much fun holding her and playing with her. she fell asleep on me several times and we just cuddled... there is no greater joy than having a baby sleeping in your arms while you hold their hand and cuddle with them.... she is just so wonderful. my sis and brother in law are truly blessed and so am i, cuz i will always be her Aunt Kiss!

on friday we went shopping early (ugh everyone and their mother was out shopping so we were crazy!) but it was fun. i had Wade and Josh with me and my sis and ryan and dustin and elsa were all together. we kept meeting up and then going to separate stores. i didnt buy much and i did not stand in any of the long lines that's for sure! Wade kept making fun of people and saying goofy stuff. i told him that if Dennis had been there they they would have embarrassed me so much i am so sure of it! haahahah... it was so much fun though!
then we got to my parents and i crashed... Addyson fell asleep on me and we were both out so fast... then i woke up to her looking at me and kind of dozing and then she saw her momma and smiled and she didnt want me anymore! :)
my sis took me to get some stuff out of my storage so that we can get rid of it and maybe have some stuff sell in the garage sale they are having soon. i wish i could be there to help but i didnt have too much... so i am sure it wont be too much hassle for them. when we got back we just hung out and visited and then i headed home that afternoon... it was a long two days and boy was i tired! i miss them already but i know i will see them soon! i cant wait to help michelle move into her new home!
we put up our tree yesterday and i decorated it. it's so pretty and fits so well in our apartment. we didnt think we had room but dennis switched the couches around and now it looks so great. the living room actually looks bigger. we usually get a 7 foot tree or taller but this time we got a 6 foot one cuz we didnt want to pull a National Lampoons Christmas Vacation stunt... :) if you havent seen that movie you HAVE to! it's great!
