A wonderful weekend

this past weekend was my b'day weekend! :) yes not just one day but four days off! i took a long weekend from work and it was well worth it and well deserved if i may say so!
my brother and mom and dad and a friend came to see me! it was so fun. we laughed and laughed and laughed some more at the dumbest and funniest things ever! next time my brother has got to bring his seasons of The Office with him! i know that will be fun to watch with everyone!
i loved having company and cooking for them and entertaining (well they entertained me more i think).
i didnt want to turn 28 but when i did i still realized "hey i am only as old as i feel and i feel pretty young!" so that made me feel better. i have lost weight this year and gotten into better shape and i feel so much better about myself! i know God has amazing things in store for us this year and i am excited to see it all happen!
oh and my friend showed me the funniest clip from youtube... it's from Mad tv and it was hilarious! "Security, Security" haahahahahaa... so funny! anyways we had a blast and i pray that one weekend they can come back and we can do it all over again. it's so nice to have company.
i didnt want them to leave and i didnt want to go back to work that's for sure! i cant wait to see everyone again... hopefully in a few weeks i can get away for a weekend...
so many b'days this time of year. it's so fun to remember the year that has passed and see the children that are in our lives get older and become more like us! i love watching children grow. it's funny i was always so excited to hold a new born (and i still am) but i just love watching little babies at 6 months or older watch the world around them and learn new things... i cant wait to be walking down the street with my 2 year old and have them look up at me and say "I love you Mommy" or run to the door when daddy gets home! children are such a great joy...

i want to thank everyone for such a wonderful weekend i had with them... dennis got me a camera that is on back order until march and it's so nice! i love it! i have been needing a digital camera for a while cuz i always forget to take my big camera that only takes film.... this will be easier and i will remember it... i have missed out on some great possible pictures this past year so i will take care of that and make it a picture taking year! :)
