Your pregnancy: 15 weeks
How your baby's growing:Your growing baby now measures about 4 inches long, crown to rump, and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces (about the size of an apple). She's busy moving amniotic fluid through her nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in her lungs begin to develop. Her legs are growing longer than her arms now, and she can move all of her joints and limbs. Although her eyelids are fused shut, she can sense light. If you shine a flashlight at your tummy, for instance, she's likely to move away from the beam. There's not much for your baby to taste at this point, but she is forming taste buds.
Wow! 15 weeks. this is just so amazing to me...25 more weeks to go. sounds like nothing but i know that the end weeks are kinda rough on a pregnant woman... so i will not hold my breath! i am so tired all the time... but for the most part i am getting to sleep more at night. i am feeling the pains of things shifting and growing and making room for the baby... but other than that i feel fine. i am trying to work out twice a week to stay in shape and do what i can to make the delivery as easy as possible. of course that is completely out of my hands and totally in God's!
last night Dennis was being silly and goes "watch what you eat the baby has taste buds" and i looked at him and said "whatever i can eat whatever i want" and he goes "no i mean stuff like broccoli, stuff that is bad for you" LOL... we always argue about broccoli... he hates that stuff so much and i love it so much... he jokes with me all the time about it and then one day a long time ago we were watching the Simpsons...( i know it's a great Christian show about well mannered children and a responsible dad)... NOT but anyways... it's one of his favorite shows, and the dr said the cause of death was broccoli... and Dennis was like "see i told you!! it's bad for you and it can KILL you" LOL... he was joking of course but ever since i will never forget that moment. it was soooooooooooo funny... my husband is such a goof and so funny most the time... i hope our kid has a great sense of humor too. otherwise my husband will scar the poor child for life!
i know our baby will grow up happy and be a funny child. he/she has to with all the different people in our family. we love to get together and laugh and have fun... even my niece Addyson loves to laugh at everything...
i am praying that in only 4 more weeks we will know what we are having so i can start registering and SHOPPING!
thank you again for all your support and prayers!

congrats girl! time is flying! it seems like yesterday it was grad wknd and you told us all! ha me and dennis have the whole vegetable thing in common.. except he likes corn and i don't. anyways broccoli is only good in alfredo! but plain is gross. ha. and i know you LOVE the simpsons and the simpsons movie. LOL. i will never get tired of that show! we have watched it ever since i remember. its funny how they always compare the baby to fruits. like first it was a peanut then it was a lime and now its an apple haha
time does seem to be flying. I know it's easy to say (for those of us not carrying the baby). The only time it seems to drag is when I think about our next ultrasound... it can't come soon enough!
yay for 15 weeks!! 25 weeks sounds like nothing...especially when i'm not the one who is pregnant. ha! we're all ready to know what this little person is going to be. i pray it's only 4 more weeks too!! i'm getting impatient!
oh, the other night i was talking to matt about you and he said, "they're having a boy, right?" i said, "no, why do you think that?" he said, "well, i guess i just thought it was a boy."
LOL. that's awesome... well a lot of people have said they think it's a boy... it's funny i just smile cuz that's what i want first of course but i wont be upset... but i just smile cuz it's so sweet of people to tell me what they think. i dont get bothered by it... i just think well God what are you giving us???
oh yes you know i love the simpsons joni... so much... :)
...how exciting. And good for you for working out! It's going to make such a difference in the end. I can't believe it's only 25 weeks now...it is funny how fast the time goes when you're not the one who's prego! :)
Before you know it, your sweet lil baby will be here! yay!
Yeah to 15 weeks! It does fly by sometimes and the it slows down and then picks right back up again. The joys of being pregnant! All the ups and downs. I'm glad you are feeling okay and not throwing up that much. I tell ya, this time was aweful in the beginning for me with all that throwing up. Can't wait to hear what the babe is.
