MY pregnancy: 16 weeks
How your baby's growing:Get ready for a growth spurt. In the next few weeks, your baby will double his weight and add inches to his length. Right now, he's about the size of an avocado: 4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) and 3 1/2 ounces. His legs are much more developed, his head is more erect than it has been, and his eyes have moved closer to the front of his head. His ears are close to their final position, too. The patterning of his scalp has begun, though his locks aren't recognizable yet. He's even started growing toenails. And there's a lot happening inside as well. For example, his heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, and this amount will continue to increase as your baby continues to develop.

ya!!! i am four months pregnant! it's so weird to say that...no one even knows i am pregnant or thinks i look pregnant unless i tell them. yesterday i wore that t-shirt in the one pic with wind pants since we did inventory and i didnt even look pregnant! so crazy! i feel great though... so much better than i have been. i still feel growing pains here and there... and every once in a while it feels like this little guy/gal kicks my bladder and i have to run! LOL but other than that i am doing good. tired from time to time. but i am getting excited, my dr. app is next week and then i will get to schedule the ultrasound. we cant wait!
not much else is going on here... i am going to my friend's baby shower this weekend. she is having a girl and is due the beginning of september... and my other friend is moving into her brand new house this weekend... and another friend of mine is about to start nursing school AND work full time here at work AND she has a little baby and a husband... she is going to be so busy plus she wants to throw me a shower this fall... i told her she is crazy but i love her anyway... i am sure she will pull it off. she is young and i know she can do it! i just cant believe how many friends i have made living here... they are so sweet and even when some of them quit they all stay in touch with me... i love it when the girls here get together with me in my office and we all goof off on their lunch breaks. it's so much fun!
i still miss my bestest friends in the whole wide world-Jenny and Khanh-so much from back home... but i am so glad they are still in my lives and make my day just with their phone calls, texts, and lots of emails! i just want you both to know i love yall so much and cant wait to have our children play together one day!!!! you both have always been there for me in the good times and the bad and for that i will always be grateful.
dennis and i go back and forth on what we want in a house and how big and price and so forth... we cant wait. just ten more months and God willing we will get our house and make a wonderful home for our little one... it's going to be so amazing. God is so good. Thank you Lord for my life. I am so excited to see what you bring for us and our loved ones in the next year!
oh and i know there is no way of knowing what your baby is until that day but i am kinda leaning one way just because of how i feel, and look, and well just intuition. but i am not going to say what i think... LOL cuz then it will be the opposite! hahaah i will tell yall what i was thinking though after we find out... and we will let yall know what name we have picked out once we know too! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh thanks for all your prayers!!! :)

awww...your little bump is so cute!! you look wonderful kristen! thanks for the sweet comment. i can't wait for the day when our little one's can meet and play together. that will be so much fun. you have been a great friend to me too! we've both been through some similar situations and because of that, i think that is why we have become such good friends. God has great plans for your little family and we all can't wait to see how it works out. give that little "avocado" a love pat for me and tell him/her that i said hello. praying for you every day!

Kristen, your tummy is so cute! Glad you FINALLY put another picture up. I need a new one every week since I don't see you much.

thanks for your comment mom! no not on the outside yet. it's weird when i lay at certain angles i know i feel my heart and the baby's heart. it might not be that... but i feel a regular beat and a fast beat at the same time (just throughout my belly)... but nothing other than swimming or something kicking my bladder LOL.
ok i will try to get a pic up every week... i know i will be popping out soon... 24 more weeks! :) love you momma! :)
oh and um ya i dont think avocado's have blood...hahaah...

hey girl! great post.. dkbaby is slowly getting bigger! and has toenails now! so weird. i bet they are very tiny because when a baby is born they have tiny fingers and toes! i can tell a little difference from the first belly pic.. but not much! just wait in the next few months every one will know your prego! at least you are only having one though cuz that girl on jon and kate plus 8 they showed her belly after she had the 6 and it looked like she had a butt in the front there was so much extra skin and she had to have a tummy tuck.. i was wondering how she was so thin lol. but you won't have that you will look great! i had a dream a couple nights ago that we were in the delivery room and i was with some guy and dennis and dennis' dad and brenda were in there and it was after you had the baby and we were holding it. lol idk where mom and nina and all them were. anyway hope you have a good week and a fun weekend. love ya.

Your baby bump is soooo cute! And don't worry about not looking prego! I think I was about 23 or 24 weeks along before I finally "poofed" out. It was so strange too...one night I went to bed with my little baby bump and the next morning I woke up and it was like...okay, there's the baby! I will be praying for your house situation...I know what a blessing it will be when you have your own place! Keep posting pics...its fun watching you grow and grow and grow. You're like a chia pet now for all of us to enjoy! cha-cha-cha-chia!

RYC: Thanks for your prayers! I really don't thing there is too much to worry about, but better safe than sorry. :) Pelvic rest means no sex by the way... good to know, but you probably won't ever have to worry about that. When your body is already showing signs of moving towards delivery, sex can speed things along, and since they don't want that to happen with me, it's off limits until we're to term.
Your baby belly looks very cute. I can't believe you are already 16 weeks. It seems like it is going pretty fast.
Lol the belly pics are cute! I can't wait for dkbaby to be here! It's going to be so fun to have a new niece or nephew. Oh gosh Joni... praise god she's not like kate from jon and kate plus 8 when she had all those kids at once!
