If you're having a boy, his testicles are beginning to descend into his scrotum — a trip that will take about two to three days.hmmmmmmmmmmmm he "may" be able to hear my voice or his daddy's??? hmmmmm he has been able to hear us for weeks! the way babies are formed is truly a miracle and not all miracles can be fully explained so i can understand them being a little off at times! :)
right now as we speak he is jamming his feet into my ribs on my right side. i feel as if i have bruises inside on my right side... he loves it there... rarely does he move over to the other side... since he is still head down (from what i can feel and guess) his legs swing over to either side but the right side is his favorite... hmmmmmmmmm could it be cuz my appendix was removed years ago and that gives his long legs more room??? i dont know...
ah my little boy. i love him so much. i love how he can be so still and i can talk to him and he moves almost instantly. i told my mom that when i come down this weekend i know for sure she will feel him move. his favorite time of the day is mornings and late afternoons and evenings... it takes him a few minutes to calm down once i go to bed but then he is out. our alarm wakes him up so even when i snooze it he still keeps me awake. i am going to have to keep that alarm as quiet or as far away from him when he is sleeping in our room once he is born! ha we dont need it waking him up every morning that's for sure!
i am starting to feel like a huge whale... i really do. i cant walk as fast, i cant move as fast and i get tired so much faster now... i know i will only get bigger, and walk even slower, and move even slower and well, want to sleep much more... but i will make it! it's just so different. it's a wonderful experience and i am so thankful to have had such a great pregnancy so far. i feel so blessed...
i am getting a lot of my Christmas shopping done now so that i can spend time decorating and wrapping and baking in november. i just cant wait for the weather to get cooler! everyone always told me "wow you get to be pregnant during the winter time" LOL when???? hahaah. maybe for 4-8 weeks of it but when will it start????? we are supposed to be getting a cool front in the next few days so that will help me a lot. all i do is sweat. my arms and legs can be cold but i still sweat... it's crazy!!!
i will try to get some good pictures this weekend and post them next week. i cant wait to see my family!!!! :)

awww...little e loves his mommy's and daddy's voice. he will never forget them either.
it is so nice to be pregnant during our so called "winter" months isn't it? last year i don't think it got cold one time. maybe it was but it still felt hot to me. i sweated all the time just like you. remember at my shower i was sweating so bad and wanted all the fans on? ha! everyone was getting so cold.
oh, and you are not a whale. you look great. i can't wait to see you in person girl.
try the ice when he gets in those ribs...it worked for me when he rarely did it.
is it just me or are the weeks just going by faster and faster?? seems like just the other day you called me up and said, "jenny, i think i might be pregnant!" and then, i got the call where you said, "guess what? i am!!" wow, time just flies by. it goes even faster once your baby gets here.
oh, i wanted to tell you that you won't need that alarm clock anymore. elijah will take it's place. ha!

I remember the first time I met Laura. Yall lived in the house behind us. It seems she was pushing an empty stroller with you running along beside. You were 12 months old and Jamie who was playing out in the front yard was 11 months old.
I imagine your little one with tons of energy just as you had way back then.

I'm assuming that you will have a calm baby because mom said I ended up having a child like you when you were young. I hear you were very energetic and into everything with a touch of a temper. I always hear parents wish that their children have children just like them but in my case I didn't get a little Michelle. If I had a little Michelle she would be calmer and not as stubborn as Addyson is. LOL
You will be happy to not be in the warmer months because it was awful come May....I never could get cool. It will be nice for you to be able to not have to turn your AC as low when you are 9 months.
Addyson always moved around to when Stephen talked....she move more for him than me. He would start talking to her and she would just bounce around. It was awesome.
You will miss not having him in you wherever you go but will love actually getting to hold him too!
our cool front finally hit babe. I hope you're more comfortable now. I'm sure you like having Elijah in your tummy, but I'm looking forward to holding him. I can't wait to see how his little personality turns out. I don't care if he takes after you, or me. It'll be fun either way. By the way, you're lookin pretty good ;)

i got his cute little jacket at old navy. i think i got it for like $2 with a sale they were having.
