the weekend

this weekend was a lot of fun!
i got to come down to my parents on friday and i left sunday morning... first on my way i stopped by my fav hair salon and got my hair highlighted... i got dark brown, blonde and my fav-red! i love it! she did such a great job! as always... so now it's done for my showers and the holidays. i am so happy.
after that i went to my parents and visited and then dustin and priscilla and i took Josh to his basketball practice. that was fun... getting to sit and visit and watch him play. Josh is growing up so fast and is such a great player... so nice to every one on the team and so respectful to his coach... then we went home and hung out and then my sis had us over to visit at her place for a little while... well somewhere in all of that time i forgot to eat dinner! ha... i am never as hungry when i go out of town as i am when i am at home or work... so her and i took orders from everyone and ran to Jack in the Crack. :)
when we got back we just hung out for a little while and then everyone went home and josh and i stayed the night there. the next morning mom and i took josh to his next basketball practice... that was nice-getting to sit and talk to my mom for two hours... i love talking to her! i know she is excited about Elijah and she is going to be such a great help to me for advice when i have him.

oh one more thing. Friday night was hilarious to me! at my mom's michelle and my mom sat beside me and both fought over who would feel Elijah move first. my sister won and she rubbed it in my mom's face! hahah it was so funny... but they both felt him and then they got tired of it. LOL he wasnt moving as much as he normally does... then later on i called my mom over and she felt him move a lot... they both enjoyed it so much. michelle kept pushing on my belly to feel body parts. it was funny. at one point she pushed his leg or foot and he pushed his head in my bladder and that was not fun!
saturday after practice we went to fuddruckers! finally! i got to go to one of my favorite places! then we went to walmart to finish up some shopping for my brother's surprise b'day party... while we were there i realized how awkward it was holding Addyson... ha... i couldnt reach very well with my left arm to support her while holding her on my right hip! it was funny. so i put her in the cart and pushed it and then she would poke my belly. she kept poking it and laughing hard... and then she would reach out and hug my waist (what is left of it LOL) and lean back and hug me again over and over... she is such a sweet little angel. very stubborn and energetic but still a very sweet little girl.
her smile is so contagious and it makes me laugh when she does smile. and then we would tell her to give someone "the look" and she would! it was hilarious! she goes from being happy to looking angry back to laughing and it's awesome! she even scared a little boy that our family knows. hahaah he didnt know what to think of it!
well the party went well. everyone had a great time and we all ate too much. Ryan's girlfriend, Elsa and Michelle threw it for him and they did a great job... Elsa did a scavenger hunt for him and that was funny. all the clues were hilarious! especially the first one that Dustin my brother made up... goodness, the stuff they come up with!
i enjoyed hanging out with everyone so much...my favorite part was all the laughter... we laughed and laughed at so many things... that's one thing i love about my family. laughter is one of our main ingredients and i dont know what i would do without it!
i cant wait for my shower in 12 days! it's going to be great to see everyone and visit with friends that i havent seen in forever! i am so thankful that i have such a great family and such wonderful friends!
i didnt get much sleep this weekend cuz of staying up late and getting up early but i will catch up sometime! it was well worth it.and the weather was gorgeous! i stayed the night at my parents sat night and left sun morning... and then when i got home dennis woke up and we watched the cowboys and ordered pizza and had a nice afternoon together... the game was sad.. but it was still fun to watch it with him.
oh and my mom gave us four outfits for Elijah! they are soooooooooooooo adorable. i cant wait to see him in them but they arent newborn size so i guess i can wait a little while longer! i dont want him to grow up too fast, but i am very excited to see what kind of child he turns out to be... seeing addyson and how fun and cute she is makes me want to peak into the future and see what our little guy will be like. but for now i can wait!

---one more fun thing was how everyone loved seeing my belly! it has grown a lot since i have seen everyone and they just kept rubbing it... and telling me how good i looked. they were so sweet! i loved saying "i am six months along, just three to go!) and some didnt believe it... so i would stand up and show them my belly. sitting down i just look fat. hahaah. it's funny! so i would stand up and then they would see that i was pregnant.
