This weekend started out so awesome!!! Friday when i got off of work dennis called and said he had the weekend off and he was on his way home!!!! how awesome is that??? the Lord knew we needed some time together... and we got it!!! we both stayed up friday night and then slept late saturday and ran some errands and then he took me to one of my favorite restaurants! Olive Garden!!!! :) Joni and Jenny, i know yall can relate!!! :)
then we went home and relaxed and enjoyed each other's company. Saturday night we were throwing the idea around of possibly heading to Grand Prairie where my brother Wade was going to preach...Dennis and i wanted to go to church Sunday but we knew if we were going to hear Wade preach sunday evening and it was going to be almost two hours away then i needed to rest most the day... so Dennis was sweet enough to just spend time with me at home and after we ate lunch at subway we headed up there to see Wade, Priscilla and Josh. my brother Wade got to take Josh up to his apartment at school for the weekend and so i called Josh Sunday morning and asked him if we should keep it a secret that we were coming and he said YES! so we did... and we got to the church at 5:30 and waited... well when they pulled in the parking lot i rolled the window down and wow! what a great welcome we got! they all jumped out of the car and ran to us! LOL Josh just kept saying "ha i knew they were coming first!" and i said "ha we tricked yall!" cuz i had told Wade i was sorry we couldnt make it.. he understood cuz it was a long way for this prego lady to travel BUT he was soooooooooooo happy we made it... Priscilla even had to re-park the car cuz she just pulled in as fast as she could when she saw us! hahaah. it was so great... so we all laughed and said our hello's and then went in... Wade did an amazing job!!! as you can see he is on stage in a peculiar outfit... well he played "Georgie" a guy from Brooklyn and he basically told a modern day version of the story in the Bible of the adulteress woman that the Pharisees wanted to stone to death. He did an amazing job and made us laugh several times... the story really touched my heart because every one of us judge each other in some way and Jesus never ever judges... He tells us to go and change our ways and He is there with us every step of the way... He shows forgiveness when no one else will!
Wade you did an amazing job!!!! i am so glad we were able to come!!!
so i didnt bring my camera but Prisciall had hers, which Wade bought her for Christmas and it is such a nice camera! she took some great pics... we all went to Whataburger afterwards and we had a lot of fun goofing off there... everyone there thought it was a family reunion cuz toward the end we broke out some Christmas presents since we hadnt seen Wade or Priscilla for Christmas...
oh and wow my brother Josh seems to just grow and grow more and more when i see him... he used to be able to be mistaken as our kid when we would go places. ha now he is almost 14 and almost as tall as "dad" LOL! i am so glad he came with Wade and i got to see him... i thought i wasnt going to see any of my family before the baby comes and i did! now in just 16 days (more or less) i will see them all again!!!
thanks for the great time you guys. i love and miss you guys so much!!! priscilla thank you for taking such great pics!!! i did good huh? i posted them quick!!!! LOL sooooo unlike me lately!!
i was so excited from the visit that we got home around 11 pm and i could hardly sleep that night... the trip was too short but it was so great!!!!
