a long awaited update

ok, being without internet for two weeks it's not fun. you dont realize how much you depend on it until it's gone. i have missed it so much!
we are loving our new house. we got moved in and for the most part the boxes are unpacked and put away. i am attempting to paint the entire house but that will take a while. the living room is almost done but our next project will be our little boy's room. i want to make it the nursery i have been waiting for! we are going to work on that next week. i am so excited.
we love the neighborhood and our yard and the neighbors seem pretty nice too. we have so many projects we want to do but i know we have to take it one step at a time. it's just so fun and awesome to have a house to call our own. 
Dennis turned 27 too and i got him a bbque pit. it's soooo nice! i knew he had to have one for our back yard and we are getting a patio set so we can enjoy meals together out there. having a back yard is sooooo wonderful. we have missed it so much. i made a nice dinner and we ate with his mom and sisters for his b'day. i made him a german chocolate cake and oh my goodness was it good! he had a good time even though it was very simple, we had such a crazy month so far so simple was good for us! :)
it has been fun with Elijah being in this house too. we have such big spaces for him to play and he loves all of his toys. he doesnt have a whole lot but he never gets tired of them. he has a really soft book that is one of his favorites and when i read it to him he just laughs. it's so funny! i am falling in love with this little boy more and more each day. he is such a joy to be around. he loves to talk and squeal and laugh all the time. he is always saying "da da da da" over and over... it's sooooo cute!!!! 
well i better get some things done. i hope you guys are doing great! oh and Jenny thanks for posting and taking those pics. we had a great time when yall visited and when we got to hang out the other day. it's so good to be close to you again! oh and i think i have decided to get a camera like yours one day.... that thing is awesome! takes such wonderful pictures :)
