Happy 6 month birthday baby boy!

Dear Elijah,

I am sorry baby that this post is so late, but i am sure you have already forgiven me. :)

You are such an amazing little boy. We love you more and more as each day passes. You are sitting up all by yourself and you have two bottom teeth! such a big boy. You laugh and play all the time and are generally happy unless you are hungry or i walk out of the room. We have so much fun playing together. You are always rolling all over the place and when i sit you up you love to grab at all your toys and put them in your mouth. sometimes you will chase things down but most the time you are content to sit in one spot with your favorite toys. We started you on cereal on your half birthday (July 11th-your second night in your new house!) and you loved it! you slept from 9pm to 8 am that night and mommy was soooooooo happy.  it was the best night of sleep i have had in forever!!!! but that was short lived. i thought that as long as you had cereal every night before bed you would sleep all night. wellllll that didn't happen and hasn't happened since. oh well. maybe it's coming soon. you love to scream and make high pitched sounds just to hear your own voice. if i walk out of a room you are in you scream and cry like you are being attacked and then within five seconds you are happy again. it's so funny and i know that i don't have to run to you every time you do that. sometimes you can cry yourself back to sleep at night but most the time you are very stubborn and get your way. you have so much fun with daddy and love it when he takes you to a mirror. he always makes you crack up laughing! it's so cute to see you both play together. you are such a ticklish little boy and it's so fun to hear you laugh. you are still a very cuddly baby and love to sit in my lap and suck your thumb. your doggy is your little buddy and he goes everywhere with you. we are having such a great time with you and we know it will only get better as each day passes! we love you sweetheart and cant wait to see what the next month is like with you! hugs and kisses, love, your daddy and mommy. xoxoxoxoxxo
