Happy 11 Months Elijah!

My goodness, Elijah Dean you are growing up so fast. we barely blink and you are doing something new.

this has been a fun month for you. You have gotten two more teeth one on top and one on bottom and a fourth one on bottom is coming in. so in just a week or so you will have 7 teeth! Three on top and four on bottom! you love to eat! anytime i have food of any sort you crawl to me and want it! you share my cereal in the morning and you eat a little bit of what i have for lunch and dinner. you are even eating off of Daddy's plate! you got him to share his food with you! that's how loved you are! :)

Your newest thing is giving hugs. you have always been a very cuddly baby but now you give us hugs and pat us on our backs and say "awwwwww". it's the cutest thing EVER!!!! you will lay your head on our shoulder and smile so big! when daddy works a lot and comes home to us you love it so much. you love your daddy and it makes him so happy!!! you cry if he leaves the room and you only want him to hold you! it's so sweet!!!! 

you have a funny little temper too. i say funny cuz i laugh when you throw you temper. if i dont let you have something or you dont get your way you throw yourself on the floor, or slap yourself in the face and say "ow"... or you try to bite whoever is making you mad. you charge them with your mouth open and you growl. it's so funny but we gotta work on that. one day we were playing with a tennis ball and i bounced it to you and it bumped your head and you said "ow". LOL. 

when we ask you where your ball is you go find your tennis ball and you can say it. you talk all the time. sometimes it's jibber jabber but other times it sounds like you are saying words so clearly. sometimes it sounds like you are saying "donald duck", "don't", "bye bye", and a few others i cant remember. it's so cute. you say "momma" and "mommy" a lot... mostly when you really want me to pick you up or you are tired and hungry. it's so cute! but sometimes annoying when i am busy and you just dont want me to be doing anything i need to do. ha. you are a stinker!!!!

you love to follow me when i vacuum and you love to unplug it when i am using it. you think it's so funny. you love to get in all of the cabinets and pull everything out. you love cups and will play with them for a long time. you put your ball in the cups and dump it out. you have also started throwing things when you are playing or when you are frustrated. we are gonna have to watch out for flying objects!!!  you love animals of all sorts! you get so excited when you see our dog, Brownie. you laugh and chase her...it's so cute!

you have new neighbor buddies to play with and you like that! they have cool toys that fascinate you so that is a nice change from the same old stuff at home. two weeks from today will be your first Christmas so mommy and daddy are so excited about giving you some new toys! everyone in the family has gotten you something really cool and we cant wait to see you open them! of course we will help you open them cuz you will be too busy playing with the paper and bows. 

Elijah we are having so much more fun with you every day. you are growing up so fast but at the same time you are still our little baby. you laugh all the time and smile a lot! you give me the cheesiest grins and i love it! it melts my heart! everyone loves to talk to you when we go anywhere because you smile and laugh and talk back. it's so fun!!!! you are a fun kid and we couldnt imagine our lives without you.
