Today you are 16 months old. I still cant believe it! you are growing up so fast. you are such a big boy! two days ago i celebrated my second Mother's day as a Mom! i cant believe it Elijah Dean! i am a mom to the most wonderful, precious little boy EVER!!!!! thank you for coming into my life. i could never and will never imagine my life without you!!!! so because Mother's Day was just two days ago i will post your 16 month pic of you with ME!!!!!! love you angel boy!!!!!!!!!!
you can say so many words and you can pretty much repeat any word we ask you to say. just depends on your mood. LOL. you have quite the temper too. it's getting worse unfortunately but that's ok. we will work on it. you have two top molars coming in so i know that hurts you sweetie but it wont last forever!
your new words for this month are: poo poo, Addyson, balloon, car, whoa, cool, mommy, night night, yes and Brownie.
you are so cute when you say these words! and you know what/who all of them are. you love to get on anything and get mad if you cant. you whine and say "me me me" over and over until we pick you up to help you... and now you whine "mommy mommy mommy" anytime you want anything, or if i am busy and you want my attention. it can get annoying sometimes but i still love that you can say my name!
you understand pretty much anything we say. if i say "let's go bye bye" you run to the laundry door that leads to the garage. if i say "let's go see Logan" you run to the front door. if i say "are you hungry?" you nod your head yes and go to your high chair. if i say "do you want a gogurt" you run to the freezer and nod your head. if i ask you to go get doggie you will look around for him and call "doggy" until you find him or i find him for you. when i say "daddy is home, let's go see daddy" you say "daddy??? daddy???" and you run to the door...
you love the movie "cars" and now you make noises when you play with your cars just like the noise they make in the movie. you just started saying "balloon" this week. at first it was "ball" but now you say "balloon" if i say "want your juice?" you nod your head and run to the fridge. and you get excited if i get the cookies or crackers out. if you spill milk you like to pat it away like you are wiping it up. so funny. i can go on and on with the new things you are doing. it's so amazing to see how much more you are doing in just one month... it's soooooo fun! daddy and mommy are so proud of you!
now on to your temper. you will fling your arms so hard and hit mommy and daddy in the face and chest. it's not good so we are working on it. sometimes i have to hold your arms still or just sit you on the floor. we have to work on it sweetie, only because we love you. you have to learn to control your anger. you also hate to share but what baby does like to share??? ha that will come with time sweet angel. for now your toys are "your toys".
you love kids and dogs and cats and anything that is exciting. when we are driving you will point and laugh at kids or any animal you see. or if you are watching your movies you will laugh out loud at some random moment. i love it!!!!
baby boy i hope and pray you are as happy as we are! you are definately our world and we will do anything for you.

Kristen, you have so much more to look forward to with Elijah! He is such a fun toddler to be around! I am proud of you and your "mothering ability"! You are doing a great job with him! Enjoy that little boy, this time of his life won't last long! They grow up way too fast.

Thanks Mom! you are so sweet. i am doing my best i just hope it's good enough. sometimes i want to run around the room screaming LOL
or run out the door screaming...
i will definately do all i can to enjoy it cuz one day he wont be my little boy anymore...
but at least he will always be my son!!!!

Man, he is growing up too fast! He has learned a lot all of sudden...such a smart little boy! I remember the days with Camden hitting us in the face. I thought those days would never end!! But it did end and then it was something else. Ha! These kids are always keeping us on our toes! You are doing a great job Kristen! Love ya!

Wow, I cannot how much he is growing up! He is so cute Kristen. I hope I get to meet him soon now that I'm out of school. My kids will have to be tied down, LOL, cuz they're little terrorists! But it would be so nice.
