It's been a while so i thought i would post about Elijah.
He is so grown up now but definately still my baby!
He talks all the time and you can pretty much understand the most of what he says. his new thing now is "What's that?" ha ha... if he hears something or sees something it's "Momma what's that?" or "Dadda what's that?"
he loves trains, cars and boats. and he loves that daddy works on a boat! one day we got to visit Dennis and see his boat and Elijah flipped out!
he loves company and to go bye bye. and he loves to cuddle. he says "hold you?" and he always says "i yuv you"... :)
we have the best time with him. he loves to play rough with daddy and cuddle with mommy. he loves to go to stores and hold your hand and walk... sometimes he throws a fit about the grocery cart but we can usually distract him. well for the most part!
he has a temper of course and throws tantrums quite a bit. some days he wont throw a single one and then other days it's one every hour. and he screams "shutup" at us. grrrr. time out helps with that most times. he will say "yes maam, don't say that word, i sorry". ha ha. goofy kid!
he loves to talk to anyone that walks by our house or at a store. he says please and thank you all the time and "HI" really loud. if someone walks by our house he yells "HEY!" ha ha. and most the time people will carry a conversation with him as they walk by.
he is a VERY social child. hmmm i wonder where he gets that from?
we have been trying to get him to only suck his thumb when he is going to sleep. well sunday on our way to church i turned around and looked at him and he was sucking his thumb. i said "Elijah take your thumb out of your mouth" he yelled at me and say "talk to da da, turn around, talk to da da" OH MY goodness!!! little smarty pants!!!!
he loves his toys and can play with them for a long time when i am busy. he will make up stories and has such a huge imagination! i love it!!!
I can't wait to go on vacation this year and i hope it goes well with a two year old! ha ha.. he has been trying to fight his naps and i dont like that! but some days he does just find without them... but some days he is a wreck which makes me a wreck!
Every day we love Elijah more and we love the new things he does and says. it's so fun to watch him grow, just wish it didnt go so fast!
its the best and hardest job in the world!!!! :)

He is getting so BIG! He sounds like such a sweet little stinker...ha! I can relate with you about the temper tantrums! So frustrating! We just have to keep reminding ourselves that they will grow out of it soon...Hopefully! Enjoy that boy of yours girl! When and where are ya'll going on vacation?

Elijah, you're awesome. One day you'll grow up, and hopefully we still have this good relationship. I can't explain in words how much you and your mom mean to me. I want to see you grow up, just do it slower. I love you
