ya!!!! i am soooooooooooooooooooooooooo happy i am finally at 10 weeks! 1/4 of the way there! i cant believe that it has been six weeks since we found out about our little one. Praise God!
last night i went back to my kickboxing class and it was great! i took it easy and my friend and i talked through the class. it was so nice to get out and be around people and see my friend again!
... i cant wait to hear the heartbeat on July 18th... that will be great! i just cant believe how small the baby is and yet so formed... how is it that people call a baby this small a fetus??? doesnt make since!!! they are BABIES!!!! and i love this baby soooo much! ok so here is my baby's accomplisments so far:
Your pregnancy: 10 weeks
How your baby's growing:Though he's barely the size of a kumquat— a little over an inch or so long, crown to bottom — and weighs less than a quarter of an ounce, your baby has now completed the most critical portion of his development. This is the beginning of the so-called fetal period, a time when the tissues and organs in his body rapidly grow and mature. He's swallowing fluid and kicking up a storm. Vital organs — including his kidneys, intestines, brain, and liver (now making red blood cells in place of the disappearing yolk sac) — are in place and starting to function, though they'll continue to develop throughout your pregnancy. If you could take a peek inside your womb, you'd spot minute details, like tiny nails forming on fingers and toes (no more webbing) and peach-fuzz hair beginning to grow on tender skin.In other developments: Your baby's limbs can bend now. His hands are flexed at the wrist and meet over his heart, and his feet may be long enough to meet in front of his body. The outline of his spine is clearly visible through translucent skin, and spinal nerves are beginning to stretch out from his spinal cord. Your baby's forehead temporarily bulges with his developing brain and sits very high on his head, which measures half the length of his body. From crown to rump, he's about 1 1/4 inches long. In the coming weeks, your baby will again double in size— to nearly 3 inches.

yup, definitely a baby...not a fetus!! good job going to the kickboxing class. keep up the good work! you're almost 3 months now! yippee!
it's so weird when you're pregnant because the weeks go by so slow. once you have the baby the weeks fly by...maybe because you're so busy!!
Thanks girl. yes the weeks do kinda go slow... but in a way i cant believe it's been six weeks when i have been dreaming of this for what seems over 20 years! i have wanted a baby ever since the day my little brother was born... :)
yes i will keep up with my class. twice a week is good enough for me... i will need it after my vacation LOL
hey be careful in kickboxing!! I don't know why but it just makes me worry...swimming, walking, and dancing are great workouts and a lot safer for you and the baby.
You are almost out of the first trimester! That is SO exciting! Congrats to you!
aw thanks guys. ya the kickboxing class is safe... i am not getting hit at all LOL
i love that class and after vacation i am going to get back into it twice a week

Hey Kristen -
I wanted to let you know that while I was prego, I could NOT wait for the next appointment to hear my little baby on the doppler and I'm sure you're the same. Well, I came across this website called heartbeatsathome.com and rented a doppler just like the kind they use at the doctor and it was GREAT! My husband and I got to hear our little baby throughout our entire pregnancy! Just wanted to let you know in case you were interested. You are still in our prayers and my dad also has you on the prayer list at the station! Pretty soon, daddy will be able to read to your belly and baby will hear! Yay! Take care girl!
Sarah May (I'm not sure if you remember me...but I'm one of Michelle's old friends)
yes ma'am i remember you...
yes my friend Jenny told me about that and i want to do it soon. just been so busy lately. thanks!!! :) we appreciate the prayers!!!
