Happy Father's Day to the Father of our unborn child

Sweetie,
words can not describe the way i feel when i think about you. you are truly the man i always dreamed of marrying. you are my best friend. We have been through so much together and though life has taken us by surprise at times we managed to stick it out together. When i think of marriage i no longer think "oh sunshine and happiness and paradise and everything is perfect". I think of hard work, dedication, faithfulness, trust, compromise, willingness, respect, romance, and love... at times there is heartache but in the end we push on and continue to love each other and make it through the hard times. I feel like i know you better than i know myself and then at times i feel like i dont know you at all! we both get on each others nerves at times, and we both pick at each other for the silliest things... then i realize, i am glad that we fight about just the little stuff, and we dont have anything big to fight about... for the most part we are just too stubborn and have to be right but then you cave and let me be right or just apologize and for that i am grateful... not that i use that to my advantage... it's just that you are a good man and dont like to see me upset. and you are patient for the most part and now that i am going to have a baby you are even more understanding with my mood swings... i am so blessed to have someone that tries to understand even when you think i am "crazy" LOL...

When i told you we were having a baby i will never forget your reaction... and i will never forget how much you want to be a father. you are going to be the best dad ever and you will always be the best husband to me. no matter what we face in the future we will be a family and always a family first. you are a God fearing man and i respect that in you... you have the greatest sense of humor and no one can make me laugh the way you can. you tell the best stories when you come home from work. those are my fav days when you come home and we sit on the couch and you tell me about the the funnies from your day and turn it into a comedy show. you are hilarious and no one can match your humor in my eyes. i adore you and love you and cant live without you. i pray we have many many more years together and i hope you never get tired of me, cuz i am here to stay!

i love the way you make me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world. you make me feel so special and loved and i never question that love ever. you think it's silly when i get a little jealous cuz you know there is no reason to be jealous. you notice anytime i clean, even when it may be just one room or just the shower... you notice when i get a new outfit or when i get my hair done. you notice when i have lost weight and you dont care if i get fat being pregnant... i cant believe how blessed i am that you notice everything about me... you appreciate all i do for you and i dont even think twice about doing the things for you, because you thank me everytime... you dont take advantage of me and you love to help when you can. who could ask for more?

i love looking at your picture when i am at work and i always have a picture of us on my desktop at work... i love to just look at your face and pretend you are standing in front of me with a big mischievous smile on your face. LOL you are just the best...
i cant wait to see your face when our child comes into this world. and when you are holding him/her or when you are watching me take care of our baby... i know you will never tire of the screaming or diaper changes or the constant chasing the baby around our home.... others may laugh at this, and think that i am crazy for saying this and say we will change our minds after a while. but i know you better than anyone else and though i may look frazzled at times when you come home from work i know you will not tire of it. you will do whatever you can to help out and love our baby like there is no other child in the world. i know you will talk about our baby non stop and love showing our child off to the world. you are going to be an amazing father and i am so happy that i am the woman to make that happen for you! i love our life, and our marriage and i already love the future that God has in store for us...

i know i am rambling but i just wanted to put my thoughts into words and i know you love looking at my blog so here you go baby. this is for you. i love you so much and will always love you... Happy Father's Day to the Father of our unborn child... and i hope to celebrate many more with you!

i couldn't agree with you more about the bickering over silly things. matt and i laugh at each other in the middle of silly arguments sometimes and then we realize that we're glad it's not over something really serious. i think little arguments keeps things interesting. wouldn't it be boring if you always agreed on everything???
