How E is growing this week: This week, your baby weighs almost 2 pounds (like a head of cauliflower) and is about 14 1/2 inches long with his legs extended. He's sleeping and waking at regular intervals, opening and closing his eyes, and perhaps even sucking his fingers. With more brain tissue developing, your baby's brain is very active now. While his lungs are still immature, they would be capable of functioning — with a lot of medical help — if he were to be born now. Chalk up any tiny rhythmic movements you may be feeling to a case of baby hiccups, which may be common from now on. Each episode usually lasts only a few moments, and they don't bother him, so just relax and enjoy the tickle.I can not believe that our anniversary is 2 months and a week away and when that is here we will have about three weeks till our little guy joins us in this big world. i really cant believe it! this is so awesome... i can tell he is growing... and getting a lot stronger. i have a feeling he is going to be a really long baby just because of his legs. i am hoping and praying he is no more than 8 lbs and no longer than 21 or 22 inches long... :) we will see! it's a lot of fun to guess.
i have another dumb cold! i cant believe it! it has been quite a few years since i have had more than one cold a year... i am fighting this one but it's all in my head... makes me groggy and feeling yucky. oh well. i will continue to fight it until it's death! :)
not much else is going on. 10 more days until my shower! my mom and sister are throwing it for me and i am so thankful and so excited! thank you both! :)

hey girl. ya i was thinking about that the other day. 8 lbs will be big and painful enough you don't need like a 12 lb baby! hahaha. i don't know how big you or dennis was when yall were born. idk if it takes after the parents or not...
anyway hope you get to feeling better... i still can't believe next weekend is already nov and your shower!

Congrats on 27 weeks! So, no hiccups yet? It feels so neat when it happens those first couple of times...then, it can get kind of old when they get them for several hours and your belly jumps every few seconds. You will love it, though!
8lbs is the perfect size. Not too big and not too small. He probably will be pretty long because you and Dennis are both tall. Camden was 21 1/2 inches and I'm not sure where he gets his height from. He's almost 30 inches now and about to grow out of his car seat.
I must buy your presents tomorrow. All the good stuff is dwindling away quickly. I'm so excited!! Whoo hoo!
oh yes i have felt hiccups! :) i think it's cool except since he is head down it just depends on how much it annoys him... if he gets annoyed then he digs his head into my bladder. LOL he doesnt get them for long periods of time yet but i am sure that will come... poor little guy. wish i could teach him how to get rid of them! LOL
um ya joni there will be no talk about a 12 lb baby coming out of this body! LOL

so...have u felt the hiccups yet? It is a very strange feeling to have a little baby with hiccups inside of you! I still feel awful that I cant make it for the shower!
Where are more belly pics? I'm sorry that you have a cold. I did the exact same thing when I was preggo...cold after cold after cold! It was such a mess! Hope you get feeling better soon!
