Happy 7 months little man

Dear Elijah Dean,

We are having more fun with you every day. You are the sweetest little baby boy ever. I love seeing you first thing in the morning, holding you, hugging you, kissing you, making you laugh, playing with you, feeding you, rocking you, giving you your bath at night, and kissing you goodnight. You and your daddy are best buds too! you light up when daddy comes home from work and you know it's time to play!!! i love seeing you two together. You truly make our lives complete. How did we get to be so blessed??? What did we do to deserve such a perfect little angel????

This month has been a busy one, it has flown by so fast but at the same time we have made sure to give you as much attention as possible. You are enjoying living by family, since we see them a lot more. you have so much fun with everyone! You are sitting so well now, and when you want something you can go from sitting to scooting on your belly in seconds. lately you have started doing the army crawl. LOL it's so cute. you are working on crawling though, we keep seeing you pick your knees up and scoot and then that's it for the moment. I know you will be crawling sometime this month. I have figured out that you are just content to play in one little area with all your toys, and then it's time to be picked up and go somewhere else. I can just see you following me from room to room before I know it... it makes me sad to see you grow so fast, but you are still my baby. everything about you is still very much baby. i know i have been dressing you a little more grown up lately, but when i look into your face i see my small baby that needs us so much.

when i lay you on your side in your crib for naps you roll over and lay on the other side of the bed and go to sleep. it's so cute!! you do it so fast as if to say "not this side mom, THIS side" LOL. and sometimes you take naps with me and when i lay you down in bed you roll until you are laying against me and you fall asleep. i just LOVE it... when you take really long naps i miss you. it's funny... you are just so much more fun now and so i really miss you if you sleep longer than an hour. but i promise i dont wake you up! i know you need your rest for your busy day.

when you are playing on the floor and i walk up saying "i'm gonna get you", you roll away and start laughing hysterically... you love it when we play with you and do silly things to make you laugh! you also love it when i sing along with the radio and act goofy, you will stop whatever you are doing and watch me and laugh. if i am singing normally in the car you will turn your head towards me and watch me and then fall asleep... soooooo sweet!!!! lately we have been standing you up by the ottoman and you get so excited, i know you will love it when you are able to pull yourself up. Oh and your favorite time of the day is bath time!!! i have a cup that i use to pour water over you and you love to chase it in the bath tub. you smell so good after bath time and then you know it's time for bed.

Mommy and Daddy love you sweet boy. We always will and we can only love you more and more with each new day. hugs and kisses sweetie, this next month with be even more fun with you!!! *muah*

oh i almost forgot, you say "da da" and "hi" and you do this cute little fake cough... oh and sometimes you give us a "high five" it's so cute!!! you are so smart. you look at daddy and go "da da" or "hi da da" it's sooooo adorable!!! :)
